List of Companies Offering ESOP in India | Companies with ESOP

Companies provide stock ownership to the employees through the ESOP scheme without up-front cost and provide ownership interest in the company, which is why it is also referred to as the employee-owner method. The company's stock is put up for allocating to the employees to encourage participation and is given at a discounted rate. The scheme itself is meant to provide the shareholders' sense of ownership of the company. Still, the shares act as remuneration or a reward for the work and contribution given after retirement or when the shareholder leaves the company, post which the shares are sold. Until then, the shares are held in the ESOP trust. Several companies offer ESOP in India and are well-established companies.
