The second week of June saw 37 Indian startup businesses acquiring finance, with 31 receiving around $600.38 million. Cred and PhysicsWallah raised the most, a total of $240 million, $140 million, and $100 million, respectively.
Among all these, the notable thing is that homegrown startups collected around $525.81 million, which says a lot about smart and talented minds all around.
Growth/Late-Stage Deals
Among the 7 growth and late-stage startups that have collected funds, CRED’s $140 million round and PhysicsWallah’s $100 million round topped the charts, followed by Fintech startups Flexiloans and Kissht, Cashify and beauty brand Purplle.

Fintrackr’s data indicates that Bengaluru topped the charts again after last week’s top performance, with 14 Bengaluru-based startups raising funds adding up to $173.27 million, which is 28.71 % of the total funding. Delhi-NCR and Mumbai-based startups weren’t far behind on the line, raising $184.83 million across nine and $225.43 million across eight deals.

Apart from more than 35 plus fundraisings, there were two notable acquisitions too. The list includes the acquisition of healthtech startup Lybrate by Pristyn Care and ezeDox by BetterPlace
