The APEDA registration process

Any exporter needs to register for the APEDA to get the APEDA license

Exporters need to register themselves and apply for the application form to register themselves in a month of undertaking the business from the date you start the business.

If, in any case, the Exporter fails to register themselves for APEDA, the given timeline can be extended by the authorities only.

When the applicant finishes the registration process and pays the applicable fees, the authorities will issue an RCMC ( Registration cum Membership Certificate)

This is a one-time registration process, and it works as rules and regulations under the act of APEDA(The Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) by government authorities.

APEDA registration online process

These are the steps for the APEDA online registration you need to follow:

Step: 1 for registration, log in to APEDA(The Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) page.

Step 2: Click the register as member tab

Step 3: Fill in the mandatory details, for example, import-export number, email address, and mobile number. 

Step 4: Once you fill out the asked details then you click the submit tab

Step 5: A one-time password OTP will be sent to your registered email address and mobile number in order to verification 

Step 6: After the verification process is done, you have to upload the necessary documents ( JPEG, PDF, and PNG file formats are mandatory to use) 

Step 7: Once you upload the documents then, you need to pay the registration fees, excluding the taxes. 

You can pay by credit card ( master card and visa card), debit card ( master card and visa card), and demand draft in favour of APEDA (The Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) is payable to respective cities. 

Step 8: An application number will be generated after you make the payment process done

Step 9: Login credentials will be sent to your email address; you can log in to your account by visiting the home page of APEDA(The Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) from the exporter tab.

Step 10: The status of the RCMC(Registration Cum Membership certificate) application can be viewed by clicking track application and by submitting the import-export number with the application number.

step 11: If there are any mistakes with the application exporter can re-submit the application and the documents 

Step 12: The last and final step is to get approved by the RCMC(Registration Cum Membership certificate) of APEDA(The Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) officials 

Step 13: After you get the approval, you can acquire the certificate on the APEDA website by clicking the tab View RCMC(Registration Cum Membership certificate) Certificate.
